This work aims to articulate the models of development and implementation of the Maritime Space (MSP) in the countries influenced by the Benguela Current (BCC), thus contributing to the implementation of the MSP process in Angola, based on the case study -Palmeirinhas-Mouth of the Tapado River. In order to fulfill the objectives of this study, it was decided to carry out research of a demonstrative nature, with a qualitative aspect that focused on exploratory analysis, including the interaction of variables to understand the nature and characteristics of the phenomena, using a set of tasks for data collection in the pilot area under study. As a result, the alignment in the identification and analysis of policies, strategies for the sea and blue growth in the countries of the Benguela Current namely South Africa, Namibia and Angola and also in the identification of the institutional and legal framework for MSP. Countries see MSP as an opportunity to improve the national and regional quality of ocean governance by promoting cooperation between sectors, stakeholders and government authorities. In this context, maritime spatial planning emerges as an essential tool to manage development and use in order to achieve the desired results. In this way, it will be possible to attenuate the maritime space in the most sustainable and integrated way. The BCC countries, and the BCLME as a whole, are among the first African countries and among the first developing countries and LMEs worldwide to introduce OEM.
2024-09-10T06:16:15-03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Angolan Mineral, Oil & Gas Journal https://amogj.com/index.php/home/article/view/39 The Study of the Maintenance of Industrial Assets of the Beverage Industry in Angola 2024-09-10T06:18:21-03:00 Paulo Kaminda support@amogj.com Jean Pierre Caliste support@amogj.com José Aécio Gomes Sousa support@amogj.com Victor Bico support@amogj.com Luiz Leroy Thomé Vaughan lvaughan@unifei.edu.br Feliciano Cangue feliciano.cangue@isptec.co.ao António Chivanga Barros chivanga@gmail.com
The reliability of industrial assets aims to minimize unexpected failures that can result in production stoppages, high repair costs and risks to worker safety. Thus, effective maintenance strategies play a fundamental role in proactively managing the life cycle of assets, with a view to maximizing reliability and minimizing costs. In this context, the present work describes the importance of reliability and maintenance studies of industrial assets to guarantee the operational efficiency, safety and sustainability of industrial facilities and aims to analyze the current state of equipment maintenance practices in a Luanda-Angola beverage filling line. In this way, the state of the equipment that makes up the industrial process flow was identified, in terms of meeting the requirements established in the EN 16646: 2014 and ISO 55 000 standards, and gaps or possible problems were observed and solutions were proposed, described through of a master maintenance plan. Furthermore, adjustments to practical procedures were proposed with a view to improving the management of industrial processes, supported by the standards referenced here
2024-09-10T06:07:18-03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Angolan Mineral, Oil & Gas Journal
